We offer
several types of funeral services. Before choosing a funeral service, take
in consideration the needs of each individual family member and the many
options available to your family.. Whatever type of service you choose,
our staff will coordinate every detail for you, giving you more time to
concentrate on family and friends.
Traditional Funeral Services
A
traditional funeral service is when your loved one is present. The funeral
service itself can be held either in our funeral home, church or special
place chosen by the family. Funerals often consist of scripture readings,
prayers, a eulogy, sometimes a sermon and music. After the funeral, there
is usually a procession to the cemetery for a committal service..
Memorial Services
A
Memorial Service is held when the deceased is not present. It may take
place at our funeral home, a church or another place chosen by the family.
This is a time to remember a loved one through fellowship with friends and
family. The memorial service can also be an addition to a traditional
funeral service. For instance, having a traditional funeral service here,
and then a memorial service back in the deceased hometown.
Cremation Services
Cremation is often
accompanied by the rites and ceremonies of traditional funerals or
memorial services. Final disposition options include earth burial,
entombment and scattering. Some families keep cremated remains in an urn
or other container.
Transportation Options
Your
loved one's casketed remains my be transfer to their final resting place
via a procession after the funeral service or a simple delivery. We have
two options available for transportation.
